New pricing model at Booking.com: Occupancy Based Pricing

In the past, the transfer of prices to Booking.com was limited to the respective standard occupancy of a room category. The surcharges or discounts for all further numbers of persons had to be defined - based on the standard occupancy rate - in the Booking.com extranet.

Since March 2020, Booking.com additionally offers Occupancy Based Pricing (OBP).

This allows our Channel Manager to transfer the prices for all occupancy variants of a category defined in Hotel-Spider:

The advantage of the new pricing model is that the person-dependent surcharges and discounts no longer have to be maintained manually at Booking.com, saving you time and giving you more flexible in your rate structure.
