To turn your website into an e-commerce tool and establish it as a successful sales channel, it is extremely important to optimally integrate our booking engine. Here you will find an overview of the integration possibilities of Spider-Booking 4 and a few tips to make the installation easier for you.
In general, it is important to ensure that a visitor - coming from your hotel website - is quickly and easily directed to the booking engine once they are ready to make a reservation. Optimally, different integration options are combined to achieve an ideal client experience.
Integration with one link:
Simple linking via URL:
The simplest and quickest solution for integration is to place the general booking link on the web page as a redirect link (href=).
To ensure that the client can book as easily as possible, it is highly recommended to use a moving "Book Now" button. It's still a simple link (href=), but the element moves along as the client navigates the page, making it visible and clickable anytime, anywhere.

Specific links:
If you work with a link to our booking engine on the landing page of your website, visitors should be taken from there to the Spider-Booking offer overview.
However, if the client is looking at specific rooms or a promotion, there should be a redirect to that specific element.
Using the URL parameters of Spider-Booking, you can redirect the clients to specific room categories, travel dates or offers.

Widget integration on Wordpress pages:
WordPress is an "open source" Content Management System (CMS) and is today the most widely used tool to manage the content on websites. To facilitate the integration for all clients who work with WordPress, we have developed a plug-in for the platform.

The details about the integration of Spider-Booking with the WordPress plug-in can be found here:

Integration with the widget:
HTML integration of the widgets
Besides the integration via link (href=), Spider-Booking also provides a widget that allows the visitor to pre-select travel dates and number of persons already on your homepage. The widget must be integrated into the website via HTML code and can be customized to your needs.
The default widget looks like this:
Here you can find all the details about the integration and design customization of the widget with the HTML code:

Individual design of widgets:
If the functionality or presentation of the widget - as provided by us - is not sufficient for you, you can also have your web agency program an individual widget adapted to your homepage.

Iframe integration
Many of the integration options Spider-Booking offers send the visitor to a new (external) page with the Spider-Booking URL. If you don't want the visitor to leave your hotel domain, it's best to use an iframe solution.
You can find the details here:

If you want to integrate the whole Spider-Booking booking engine as an iframe, this is possible but the double navigation worsens the usability of the page (especially on mobile devices), so we do not recommend it.
