To restrict the permitted advance booking period, you can use the following booking rules in Hotel-Spider: "MinAdvancedBookingOffset" and "MaxAdvancedBookingOffset".
Definition
- MinAdvancedBookingOffset = Minimum time between booking and arrival:
If you want guests to book at least X hours/days/months before their arrival.
Usage examples:
- Your front office is only open until 8 PM daily, and you don’t want reservations for the same night to be possible after 8 PM.
- Early bird offers
- MaxAdvancedBookingOffset = Maximum time between reservation and arrival
If you don’t want guests to book more than X hours/days/months in advance.
Usage examples:
- You don’t want bookings to be made more than 365 days in advance because event dates are only announced a year ahead.
- Last-minute offers
Please note: The advance booking period only synchronizes in certain portals. You can recognize these by their logos in the booking rule overview.
