Note: If you have connected a property management system (PMS), which sends the booking rules to Hotel-Spider, please do not edit them manually in our extranet.
You can edit booking rules in the menu under 'Distribution' -> 'Booking rules' on different levels:
Which levels can be managed, where is the difference and how are they unlocked?
By default, only the "product level" is enabled under the booking rules, as most properties work on that level. Under the product level, you can manage all room categories with the associated rates.
In addition, "Property", "Room" and "Rate" levels can be unlocked by the Hotel-Spider support team, if required.
These additional levels exist for the simplified input of the data because these can be arranged faster, but not as specific as on product level. You don't have to unlock them all, just the ones you actually need.
Please note that if you enter different restrictions on different levels, the strictest rule will apply at the end.
Example: On rate level you have a minimum stay of 5 nights and at product level 3 nights. Then the restriction 5 nights is taken and sent to the connected channels.

On Property level you can open or close your entire property - all rooms without adjusting the availabilities. This restriction will not be overwritten by any PMS.
Understanding the Booking Rule screen & filter
Directly next to the menu you will find the overview of the products. These can also be filtered if necessary for a better overview. Find more about this in our documentation "Apply filters".
On the right in the large area you can see a list of all booking rules. Directly behind it you can see the logo of the portal to whom they are sent. Unfortunately, not every portal accepts all booking rules. For other portals there are again own, extended booking rules. These can be found below.
If you click on the arrow in front of the name of the booking rule, it opens and you can check the current entries. Short changes can also be made directly here by writing the change and clicking on Save in the upper right corner. Changes for longer periods should be made via the "Edit period" button in the top right corner.
Please note that only one month of data can be displayed here at a time.
